JEEP WAVE® ELIGIBILITY
Jeep Wave® memberships have been expanded to all purchased or leased Jeep® Brand vehicles starting with the 2021 model year. Select 2020 Jeep Brand vehicle models and trims are available. For more information, refer to the Frequently Asked Questions below.
- Model Year 2016-2020: vehicles sold at any time have a 2-year (24-month) membership and maintenance benefits for four oil changes and four tire rotations.
- Model Year 2021 and Newer: vehicles sold before July 17, 2023, have a 3-year (36-month) membership and maintenance benefits for three oil changes and three tire rotations.
- Model Year 2021 and Newer: vehicles sold on or after July 17, 2023, have a 2-year (24-month) membership and maintenance benefits for two oil changes and two tire rotations.
Note: The information above applies to auto-enrolled members (automatically applied upon vehicle purchase).
Beginning with 2021 model year, all Jeep® vehicles are automatically enrolled into the Jeep Wave® program. For 2016-2020 model year vehicles, only select vehicles are automatically enrolled into the program:
- Wrangler and Gladiator - all trim levels
- Grand Cherokee - Overland, Summit, SRT®, Trailhawk®, Trackhawk® and High Altitude trim levels
- Cherokee, Compass and Renegade - Trailhawk trim level
Owners of 2015 model year and newer Jeep® Brand vehicles not already enrolled in the Jeep Wave® program can do so for an additional cost via the Jeep Wave page in the Care section of their owner account or by visiting their local dealer.
Membership for Jeep Wave® included as part of an eligible vehicle purchase begins on the vehicle's in-service date. For those who purchase Jeep Wave, membership starts on the date of membership purchase.
It may take up to 72 hours for an owner's membership in Jeep Wave® to be fully processed and accessible on the site.
Yes. Owners will be able to renew their membership using the buy-in function on the owner site or by visiting their local dealer. Owners who are opted in to receive Jeep Wave® communications will be given advance notice of their membership end date and instructions on renewal. Owners will also be notified of the opportunity to renew on their Jeep Wave account page.
If the vehicle is sold, the Jeep Wave® membership for all membership types, along with any unused benefits, is null and void.
Members who purchase a Jeep Wave® membership are entitled to a full refund within 60 days of purchase, so long as none of the benefits have been utilized. Members seeking a refund should call the dedicated Jeep Wave member line at 844-JEEPWAVE (533-7928) for further information. After 60 days, no refund is available. Owners who received Jeep Wave automatically as part of a vehicle purchase are not entitled to a refund..
Jeep Wave® members can go to participating U.S. authorized FCA US LLC dealers to redeem their oil change and tire rotation services.
The Plan will reimburse up to $1,000/event for lodging, meals and emergency transportation such as taxi, bus or airline for the member and their family if (1) their vehicle is inoperable due to a failure covered under this Plan or under the factory warranty and (2) you are more than 100 miles from the address of record. Lodging, meals and emergency transportation receipts must accompany a copy of repair bill and must be mailed to Vehicle Protection, P.O. Box 2700, Troy, Michigan 48007-2700. There is no maximum number of events that can be covered.
First Day Rental Allowance provides $40.00 car rental allowance if the vehicle is to be serviced for any same day mechanical repair or maintenance service (excluding bodywork). Vehicles kept overnight are not eligible for First Day Rental. Please note: Excludes rental for bodywork to the exterior sheet metal/composite panel or frame collision repairs.
The rental vehicle must be obtained from a dealer. If a dealer does not have rental vehicles available, you may obtain one from a licensed rental agency. Rental coverage is subject to state and local laws and policies imposed by the rental agency. Rental charges in excess of the amount allowed by the plan are the member’s responsibility. The plan is not responsible for any refusal of a rental agency to rent a vehicle to you.
Members of the Jeep Wave® program will have 24/7 access to a set of dedicated representatives who will extend elite customer service and handle any inquiries from Jeep Wave members who call 1-844-533-7928 (1-844-JEEP WAVE), or visit their account page at jeep.com/wave, and use the Live Chat option on their account page.
